![]() ![]() Definitely get drowned out after about 3/4 volume.Įdit. I mean, they hardly keep up with my JL C3s in the doors. I know it won't match my W3s, but I also know they should get after it. I know that's not possible in a super duty without real custom setups, but I want to maximize what I have. And sounded clean and detailed as all get out. I had two JL Audio W3 12s in my tahoe at 800w on the same rockford amp (2 ohm) in a ported larger inclosure and those SLAMMED. It's not a low voltage problem I don't think alternator puts out a steady 14v and dips to 13.8 at the lowest when they hit. I bought these subs because I figured it would be as close to slamming as I could get in a pickup, but have no dice. It's like the amp is going into protect mode, but for reasons I do not know why. I ran a dedicated 12v line to the amp to see if that fixed the problem, and no dice, but did make them play clearer. Just when I feel like there right before they start slamming like they should, they cut out. The subs cut out at volumes above 1/2, like the amp is going into protect mode. Dedicated line, grounded at a bolt in the body in the back (literally the only ground point I can find.) Settings are:Ĥ volt pre-out signal coming from Pioneer double dinn HU I wanna say 10 gauge OFC wiring runs from the amp to the subs, and the amp is fed by a 4 gauge line with a hundred amp or so fuse. It's something like 200 watts over what they're rated for but it shouldn't be an issue. These are being driven with a Rockford Fosgate 1200 watt mono amp, 1 ohm stable and the subs are wired down to 1 ohm. #Prv audio on steve meade designs series#Two Sundown Audio SD3 series 10" woofers in a 1 CF stuffed box behind the back seat (no room for anything). This amp is fed with its own 4 gauge line, separate from the sub amp. ![]() JL audio C3 components, JL audio 5 channel amp running those, but that's not the problem. Yes I've searched the forums and scoured Google (not sure if "searching" before posting is a big issue here"). I apologize if I'm a n00b in the forum but I know my way around car audio fairly well and am looking for your insight to my issues. New to the forum but am not new to forums. I will post some more pics when I get back home. Sorry I dont have any pics of this all being built I was just trying to get things done at the time. I got six 12s and did a forthorder but couldn't find any pics of that so we'll move on to the rest. After all the fun mess I started a low power SPL class that didn't last long. ![]() when I got it the blazer was not running, I had to do some work to the engine to get it running, ended up being the spider injectors, after that it had a wiring problem turned out it was the main power distribution block, it had melted to the point that it wasn't making a good connection. The blazer has been used for comps by another guy before I got it, he used it in a no wall class, did a 156 with 4 15s, I bought it from a guy for $500 that bought it from the guy the original guy sold it to, yeah its been pasted around a few times. I'm posting some of the pics I have from the start of it first Through the stately, profound pacing of chordal harmonic structures the diaphanous suspension and release of the four movements breathe with exquisite grace and depth.I've been working on this 96 blazer since last year, building it for SPL, I dont have a lot of pics from the start but I'm currently doing a rebuild using crescendo amps, subs, mids, and highs. Masterfully delivered, Roach’s singular evolving language of contemplative soundworlds arrives at a place of deeper refinement. The ebb and flow within Mercurius emerges from its own space and time moving beyond ambient, immersive or drone-based pieces. Composed in four movements, Mercurius is a soulful resonation upon the ineffable. Moving beyond the security of naming the infinite nuances intrinsic to being human is just one of the threads of intention woven into this music. Mercurius is a resplendent sonic expression on the psychology and spirituality of impermanence and finding comfort in the liminal spaces of the in-between. ![]()
